Ever since we were introduced to Disney Planes Movie, we are always playing and dreaming with the sky, planes and yes, speed too. With the holidays upon us, and kids on vacation, there is lots of time to ask if it is Christmas Day yet. Here are two DIY craft projects perfect for Disney Planes Dusty fans: DIY Disney Planes Inspired Countdown Garland and Bike-To-Plane Conversion projects.
So, in the spirit of the season, the advent calendar will help us countdown to Christmas Day with our DIY garland. Of course it had to include some of the Planes characters in it. With #PlanesToTheRescue, “We are clear to manuver”- DIY details for you:
Additional tips: You can decide to glue the pin directly on the date square piece and the ribbon. I decided not to because there are just so many uses for these squares: gift tags, Christmas tree ornaments, card holder, you could even venture out and create a wreath out of it.
Now that the kid’s burning question of “Is Christmas here yet” is answered, I need to turn to help Santa with his chores. It seems everything on Santa’s list from our little pilot is Disney Planes related, including the newest addition to the franchise “Planes, Fire And Rescue”. “Shut the hangar door!” I was thrilled last week during my last trip to Walmart to find I need to help Santa in “rollback” mode:
- Disney Planes Flight to the Finish Speedway Rollback to $24.97
- Planes Character Assortment die-cast set and the Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue Character Assortment die-cast set are both on rollback at $4.97
- Disney Planes Fire & Rescue Die-Cast Vehicles, 3-Pack Rollback to $14.97
- Disney Planes Fire & Rescue Deluxe Talking Vehicle Assortment- Rollback to $19.97
Do you copy? I did loud and clear
Of course one craft wouldn’t be enough to keep every one entertained, so we took advantage of neighborhood cookie exchange. Our pilot plays Santa elf delivering them in his oh so cool bike plane. This is very simple to put together with a paid of shirt gift boxes. Here are the details
Additional tips: you could always just cut a right triangle (or 90° angle triangle) and insert it where the two “wings” meet.
Our muchkin used his creativity to paint his plane and off he went to sweeten our neighbors day.
Are you doing any crafts this season? Do they maybe involve anything related to Disney’s Planes Movies? We would love to try out your DIY projects, so share with s in the comments below please.
